Region One ESC provides free GED, ESL courses for adults

HIDALGO COUNTY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Region One Education Service Center announced two upcoming registration sessions in preparing for the GED exam, improving English language skills, or becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

These programs are designed to support adult learners and are offered at no cost.

CNA classes will be provided in English and Spanish. Registration for all sessions is conducted in person on the following days:

CNA Registration Session is at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Region One ESC at 4305 N. McColl Rd. in McAllen.

GED Preparation and English as a Second Language (ESL) Registration Session is at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 19, at the La Villa ISD Multi-Purpose Building located at 500 E. 9th St.
