Rear axle, tires detach from vehicle causing accident in McAllen

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A video submitted by a viewer shows an accident in McAllen involving a tractor-trailer and multiple vehicles.

The accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on Pecan Boulevard and 2nd Street in McAllen.

The video shows that the tractor-trailer had its two back wheels and the axle fully detached from its vehicle.

Police are on the scene, assisting with traffic and the accident.
