HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An upcoming boxing event on March 22, will be headlined by Johnny "Blaze" Tapia, a prominent Brownsville boxer.

Tapia is excited about his comeback after a year due to a rib injury, emphasizing his safer training methods and improved mental and physical readiness.
The event will feature several promising young boxers, including Jesus Martinez, and Caleb Suniga, all trained by renowned trainer Robert Garcia.
A press conference is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Ojos Locos in Weslaco.
Tickets are available on social media and at Blazing Boxing Gym in Brownsville.
The event will take place at the Llano Grande Event Center, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the first fight starting at 7 p.m.
