PSJA Stadium comes alive with Tradiciones Mexicanas event

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (PSJA ISD) hosted its 4th Annual Tradiciones Mexicanas on Monday.

The event celebrated the rich multicultural heritage of the Rio Grande Valley through dynamic performances by PSJA ISD students.

The evening was filled with mariachi ensembles, folklorico dancers, and conjunto groups at the PSJA Stadium in Pharr.

"We're just so proud of these students, and we really appreciate the support of the community, our school board, and our administrators in the district. It's just a great night," Director of Fine Arts, PSJA ISD, John Taylor said.

By hosting Tradiciones Mexicanas, PSJA ISD aimed to honor and showcase the diverse cultural traditions that contribute to the identity of the Rio Grande Valley.
