PSJA golfer signs with Oklahoma Panhandle State University

SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — PSJA Early College High School athlete Paul Mercado has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf for Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

Mercado signed his letter on May 30, surrounded by family, to continue his golf career at the collegiate level.

Mercado attends PSJA Collegiate School of Health Professions for his studies and plays golf for the PSJA ECHS Bears. He has balanced the demands of rigorous academic coursework with the commitment required to excel in sports, according to the district's news release.
