PSJA auditorium set for modern transformation

SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District on Wednesday held a groundbreaking ceremony for its auditorium.

According to the district, the PSJA Auditorium was where some of their greatest moments took center stage.

"We're not adding space. The space that is going to be is the front area, modernizing the building. We are improving the sound system and all the technology that can be embedded. So there's going to be a lot of areas of improvement in there, so we're adding everything else that is going to make it a more modern building," said Superintendent Alejandro Elias.

When completed, the district invites the community to join them for a grand reopening in Fall 2026.
