MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Sharyland school was under a standard response protocol following a potential threat, officials say.
Sharyland North Junior High has now lifted the Standard Response Protocol and transitioned to normal operations after unverified reports of a potential threat were reported within the school premises.
"All students and staff are confirmed to be safe and secure," Sharyland Independent School District announced.
Parents have been notified of the potential threat and the protocol lift.
The district has not disclosed additional information on the potential threat and if any students are detained.
