Propane tank explodes causing fire in Laguna Heights

LAGUNA HEIGHTS, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A small propane tank exploded at a residence, causing a small fire, officials say.

Just before noon, fire officials responded to a small propane tank explosion on the corner of Coolidge Avenue and Kennedy Street in Laguna Heights.

City Manager Victor Trevino told ValleyCentral that a small propane tank caused a fire at a nearby shed. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

No injuries were reported.
