Power lines fall after truck strikes traffic light in Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edinburg police are investigating a crash at the intersection of McColl and Rogers Road on Tuesday.

According to the city, just after 8 a.m., an unknown truck struck a traffic light, causing power lines to fall and become exposed.

North and southbound directions of McColl and Rogers Road are closed as police conduct traffic control and investigate the crash.

Police ask drivers to use alternate routes while crews work to clear the scene.
