Police: Two hospitalized after crash on Weslaco expressway

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two people were taken to a local hospital following a car crash on the expressway Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Weslaco Police Department spokesperson, the crash took place at approximately 1 p.m. at 500 W. I-H2.

Police say a driver lost control of the vehicle, which caused two other people to crash. Police add that it was raining at the time.

The crash remains under investigation.
