Police search for suspect in McAllen auto theft case

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police are searching for the suspect involved in stealing a pickup truck in the downtown McAllen area.

Ranulfo Segura Ojeda, 38, is accused of the auto theft that took place on Aug. 23 at the 1900 block of Austin Ave.

Police describe the stolen vehicle as a maroon 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

The vehicle has not been located.

Ojeda is described as having black hair and brown eyes, with tattoos on his upper torso and neck.

Police say Ojeda is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Ojeda's last known address is in San Benito.
