Police presence near Basilica in San Juan

SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Around 12:30 a.m. a heavy police presence near the Basilica Of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle was seen.

Details are limited but multiple law enforcement agencies responded and blocked the Highway 2 exit ramp.

San Juan Police say they assisted Mission Police in this matter. Mission Police will provide additional details on this incident, according to a police spokesperson.
