McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man accused of continuous domestic violence.
Esgar Rene Carrizales, 47, is wanted on charges of continuous violence against the family, a third-degree felony, and terroristic threat, a class “A” misdemeanor, according to a news release from McAllen PD.

Authorities on Friday received a report of continuing domestic violence involving assault and a threat to commit violence. Carrizales was named the suspect in the domestic violence, the release stated.
Authorities investigated reports of multiple assaults against the victim within 12 months that resulted in bodily injury, according to police.
A McAllen Municipal Court judge issued arrest warrants against Carrizales for continuous violence against the family and terroristic threats.
Carrizales is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in McAllen and he was last seen in the 1200 block of Y-Z Avenue.
Authorities say he is believed to have left the area on foot.
