Police bring down man holding sharp edge to his neck

RAYMONDVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Raymondville Police Department reported a disturbance in the area of the 500 block of West Hidalgo Ave. Wednesday morning.

Raymondville Police Chief Uvaldo Zamora said a man was holding a piece of an aluminum can up to his neck.

Police were able to bring down the man, but in the process, he hit his head against the ground.

He is at an area hospital undergoing evaluation.
