Police: 2 arrested on prostitution charges during investigation into McAllen massage parlor

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two women have been arrested on prostitution charges after an investigation into a McAllen massage parlor, the McAllen Police Department announced Friday.

McAllen police, alongside state and federal agencies, began investigating a massage parlor located on the 4300 block of N. 10th Street. Police say the investigation led to the arrest of two women on Thursday.

Pharr resident, 39-year-old Ana Rosa Cabrera Granandos, and McAllen resident, 44-year-old Jassel Mercedes Torres Romero, were arrested on charges of prostitution, a Class B misdemeanor, according to a news release from the McAllen Police Department.

McAllen police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may follow.
