Pharr police investigate death after wellness check

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A wellness check that led to a death investigation, the Pharr Police Department announced.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, authorities responded to the 200 block of East Sam Houston in reference to a wellness check, according to a news release from Pharr PD.

The wellness check subsequently led to a death investigation.

Details are limited at this time as investigators are gathering more information, the release added.
