Pharr FD: Junkyard fire contained

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Pharr Fire Department contained a junkyard and grass fire Monday afternoon.

Fire officials responded to a grass fire off Jackson Road. City officials told ValleyCentral that 10 to 12 vehicles were involved in the incident.

McAllen, San Juan, Edinburg Fire Departments and Pharr Emergency Medical Services assisted in Pharr FD at the scene.

The fire has been contained. No injuries were reported.
