Pharr city offers free pet wellness event and activities

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Pharr is hosting a pet wellness event for Pharr pet owners.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 12 at the Jose "Pepe" Salinas Memorial Recreation Center.

Vaccine Clinic Registration is now closed, as all available spots have been filled. However, residents are still invited to attend the free Wellness Fair.

The wellness fair will include pet-related vendors, activities and prizes.

Pets allowed at the fair must be on a leash or in a carrier, and attendees must provide proof of residency, such as a water bill or driver's license.
