Pharr City Commission cancels upcoming municipal election

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Pharr City Commission approved a motion to cancel its upcoming General Municipal Election.

The cancelation was announced during a commission meeting on Tuesday.

Commissioners did not openly discuss what led to the decision to cancel the general election.

City Commission Places 2, 3, and 4 were on the ballot for this year's election, which was scheduled for Saturday, May 3.
