Perez: Here’s what’s happening at Pharr EDC

PHARR, Texas – If you are an economic development leader sometimes you have to multitask.

That’s certainly the case of Victor Perez, President of the Pharr Economic Development Corporation.

In an exclusive video interview with the Rio Grande Guardian, Perez spoke on three major projects he’s working on.

First, bring more healthcare facilities and training for health care workers to the city of Pharr.

Secondly, bring an international incubator to the city, in conjunction with UT Rio Grande Valley.

And the third, is to create a Foreign Trade Zone. With this project he is working with Hidalgo County and the cities of Donna, Weslaco, and Edinburg.
