Pedestrian hurt in Edinburg accident with DPS unit

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Public Safety reported an auto-pedestrian accident Thursday at the intersection of McColl and Canton in Edinburg.

The accident occurred around 7 a.m. It involved a DPS unit and a female pedestrian.

The woman was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The DPS trooper was not injured.
