McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police arrested a McAllen teenager suspected of collecting the "entrance fee" to a party that left a football player seriously injured.

Heron Hernandez Jr., 17, was arrested on a charge of purchasing or furnishing alcohol to a minor, a state jail felony, according to a news release from the McAllen Police Department.

According to police, Hernandez allegedly collected the entrance fee to the party where alcohol was available to minors.

He was arraigned and his bond was set at $25,000. Jail records show he was released from jail on Wednesday.
