PD: Single vehicle accident caused other cars to crash on highway

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Harlingen police on the scene of a single-vehicle accident.

The accident occurred at approximately 11:36 a.m. on Friday near Bass Boulevard.

According to the Harlingen Police Department, the single-vehicle crash resulted in at least three other vehicles to wreck.

Larry Moore, with the Harlingen Police Department, traffic is expected due to the highway being closed to one lane.

Moore said minor injuries were reported during the accident and drivers are advised to be cautious on the road.
