PD: Person shot 'multiple' times in McAllen home prompts death investigation

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A death investigation is underway after one person was found inside a McAllen home with multiple gunshot wounds, police say.

McAllen police responded to the scene Monday morning at the 1300 block of S. 19th½ St. in reference to a person who was dead inside the home.

Investigation reveals the person who reported to police and a second person are involved, according to police.

The two people have been detained and will face charges. Arraignment details are pending.

Police have not identified anyone involved in the death investigation.

The open case is being investigated as a homicide.
