PD: Man struck, killed by truck in Alamo

ALAMO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Alamo police are investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that left one man dead.

At 3:47 a.m. Monday, authorities responded to an accident at the 1300 block of West Frontage Road, according to the Alamo Police Department.

The man who was struck by the vehicle was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. Police said the vehicle involved was a Ford F-150, and the driver remained at the scene.

The man was later identified as 60-year-old Donna resident Alfredo Villalpando.

This is an ongoing investigation.
