PD: Man arrested in connection to 2020 Brownsville double homicide

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Brownsville police arrested a man in connection to a 2020 double homicide.

On Monday, the Brownsville police SWAT team assisted the U.S. Marshals in an arrest warrant at the 6600 block of Santa Anita Drive, according to a post by the Brownsville Police Department.

Authorities say the man was arrested for his involvement in a double homicide that occurred on July 4, 2020, on E. 14th Street.

Authorities have not released the identity of the man. He is pending arraignment.
