PD: 1 killed, 1 hospitalized after San Juan crash

SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The San Juan Police Department responded to a crash Tuesday evening that left one man dead and another hospitalized.

The head-on collision occurred at the intersection of FM 495 and Raul Longoria Road.

Police identified the driver as 22-year-old San Juan resident, Roberto Carlos Rios.

Rios was pronounced dead at the scene. The next of kin has been notified.

The other driver was transported to a local hospital for their injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
