PD: 1 arrested, 1 wanted in McAllen auto theft investigation

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen police have arrested one man and are searching for a person of interest linked to an auto theft.

On May 17, the victim reported to police that his Chevrolet pick-up truck had been stolen from the 100 block of E. Ridge Road, according to a release from the McAllen Police Department.

On May 23, Sergio Munoz Jr. was arrested by McAllen police and charged with theft by appropriation.

He was arraigned the following day and issued a bond of $15,000.

Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating the person of interest linked to an auto theft investigation.
