Pavement repairs set for eastbound I-2 lanes in Palmview

PALMVIEW, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Road repairs in Palmview may cause traffic delays this coming week.

The Texas Department of Transportation announced a scheduled pavement repair starting Monday on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 2 (US 83) between FM 492 in Palmview and Conway Avenue.

The pavement work will run from Monday through Friday, May 9.

Drivers are expected to prepare for possible lane closures and delays while crews are present between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Additionally, easbound I-2 frontage road on and off ramps located within the project will be impacted with temporary closures, TxDOT added.

Drivers are advised to prepare for possible traffic delays.
