Paint bowls, support Food Bank RGV at La Plaza Mall event

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The La Plaza Mall is hosting an Empty Bowl Painting Party in preparation for the annual Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley fundraiser.

The event is taking place from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at La Plaza Mall, Grand Court, in front of Starbucks, located at 2200 South 10th Street.

The event is open to the public across the Rio Grande Valley with a $10 entry donation.

Attendees will be able to enjoy music, a fun photo booth, drinks and more, while painting bowls to help supply the Food Bank RGV for its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser.

All the painted bowls will be featured at the Food Bank RGV's largest fundraiser of the year, Empty Bowl 2025.
