Over 21,000 power outages reported in Hidalgo, Cameron Counties

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — AEP Texas and Magic Valley Electric Cooperative are reporting power outages due to Monday night's storms.

Most of the outages are reported in Hidalgo and Cameron Counties.

According to the AEP Texas outage map, approximately 17,000 customers are without power across both counties.

Magic Valley is reporting that 4,388 are without power in both counties.
