The Ethics Committee of the City of Brownsville will convene a regular meeting on January 21, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. in the Commission Chambers. The meeting will be open to the public and will also be accessible via teleconference. Members of the public, employees, and Board or Commission members may join the meeting remotely by logging on to the provided link. The meeting will include a public comment period, during which members of the public may offer comments on non-agenda items or agenda items, with a time limit of three minutes per speaker. The committee will also consider approval of minutes from the previous meeting, discuss and update the City's Ethics Ordinance, and may retire into Executive Session to confer with legal counsel. A recording of the meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the Open Meetings Act.
