No road closures after tractor-trailer fire in Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A tractor-trailer caught on fire Wednesday morning on the I-69C near Schunior Street, according to the City of Edinburg.

City officials stated that the fire began on the breaks before spreading onto the wheels and the rest of the vehicle.

The incident did not cause any road closures, and no injuries were reported. The scene is now clear.

As this was not a motor vehicle accident, no investigation will be conducted, said the city.
