No injuries reported in San Benito school bus incident, district says

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The San Benito Consolidated Independent School District Police Department responded to a traffic incident involving a district school bus on Thursday morning.

The district's police department, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, responded to FM 1577 and La Encantada Loop, according to a news release.

Both agencies quickly assessed the situation involving students and staff on the bus.

Five students and the bus driver were on the bus at the time, the district said. No injuries were reported.
