Nightly road closures scheduled on U.S. 281 in Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Nightly road closures are scheduled for a portion of U.S. 281 in Edinburg starting this weekend.

The Texas Department of Transportation announced that the road closure will affect the northbound lanes of U.S. 281 between Ramseyer Road and FM 2812.

Closures will begin at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.

TxDOT says that the nightly road closures will continue through Friday, Oct. 17.

Traffic delays are expected in the area.
