Nightly closures on I-69C in Edinburg for paving work

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation announced nightly upcoming road closures in the Edinburg area.

According to a news release from TxDOT, there will be full closures taking place on the southbound I-69C main lanes between Monte Cristo Road and Ramseyer Road.

The nightly road closures are scheduled between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, Oct. 19, through Thursday, Oct. 29. The closures are due to paving repairs.

Drivers are advised to plan accordingly and reroute if necessary.

Additionally, motorists are reminded to stay alert and slow down while driving in the work zone area.
