NBC 23/CBS 4 going live from STXCC 2025

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — South Texas Comic Con is now here and has arrived with big names to the Valley.

The three-day convention begins Friday through Sunday at the McAllen Convention Center.

Our NBC 23 and CBS 4 teams will go live for their 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts from the convention.

Catch our teams interview STXCC featured guests, such as Valley native RJ Mitte, from Breaking Bad, Zachary Gordon, from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Allen Covert and more.

The 2025 South Texas Comic Con headliners include Mexican American comedian Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, actor David Hasselhoff, and voice actors of the popular Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty.

Other featured guests include:

  • Luis Carreño, a Spanish voice actor known for his roles as Bob Esponja in the Spanish Dubbed series Spongebob SquarePants, Perro from CatDog, Justice League and many more.
  • Dee Snider, a singer, songwriter, actor and screenwriter.
  • Juliette Lewis from Yellowjackets, MA, From Dusk Till Dawn, and more.
  • Theo Rossi, known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy, The Penguin and more.
  • Emilio Rivera, known for his roles in Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C., Venom, Flamin’ Hot and more.
  • JD Pardo, most known for his role in Twilight, Mayans M.C., High Potential and more.
  • Valente Rodriguez, Edinburg native who brought to life the roles of Ernie in the comedy series George Lopez, Cesar in Happily Divorced, Principal Gutierrez in High School Musical The Musical The Series and more.
