HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The annual Nash Bash in honor of Michael Alexander Nash is just around the corner at the Brownsville Sports Park.

Michael's brother, Simon Nash Puente, talks about the event and what to expect.

"The Nash Bash is a free community event we put on to remember the life of my little brother, Michael Alexander Nash. He passed away two years ago on May 3. So on his birthday or around his birthday, we celebrate his life as a community event. We have live entertainment, 16 bands this time around. We also have ROCA, the Revival Cultural Arts from Brownsville, putting on some of their shows, skateboarding contests, farmer's market, art workshops, and BARCC will be there for pet adoption."

The event is set for Nov. 15 from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Brownsville Sports Park. Scan the QR Code for information or call (956) 466-1570.
