EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Museum of South Texas History hosted a Ranch Fest.
The museum hosted the event Saturday morning and demonstrated to participants different types of ranch life and cultures.
Some of the activities participants experienced were rope making, roping cattle, boot making and horseshoe making.
"So we feel that putting this event together is fulfilling our mission and also bringing the community together," said Pamela Morales, communications officer with the Museum of South Texas.
Visitors also experienced a variety of food vendors selling different types of ranch-style cuisine such as roast elote, aguas frescas, BBQ, tacos and much more.
