MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Mujeres Unidas, a McAllen-based non-profit agency, will host a candlelight vigil on Thursday dedicated to people impacted by domestic violence.
The event is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Fireman's Park Pavilion, located at 201 N. 1st St. in McAllen.
The candlelight vigil is open to the public to remember those lost to domestic violence, to uplift survivors, and raise awareness to end abuse.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend, light a candle, and be a part of the change.
