'Movies With A Cop' returns to Edinburg for June, July events

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Edinburg Police Department announces the return of "Movies With a Cop."

The department's news release says the event will have two summer screenings in June and a special National Night Out edition in July.

The event is designed to promote stronger connections between law enforcement and the community, according to the department.

Mufasa: The Lion King, Friday, June 20, beginning at 8 p.m. at the Edinburg Municipal Park Pavilion North Side, located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Rd.

Moana 2, Friday, June 27, beginning at 8 p.m. also at the Edinburg Municipal Park Pavilion North Side, located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Rd.

Wicked, Monday, July 14, beginning at 8 p.m. at the Edinburg Bicentennial Park, located at 2202 W. Sprague St. This will be a National Night Out Special Edition.
