Motorcyclist injured in crash with SUV in McAllen

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen police are investigating a motorcycle-vehicle collision.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Friday, May 2, at the 8000 block of N. 10th Street.

Olivia Lopez with the McAllen Police Department told ValleyCentral the collision involved a red SUV and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with what appears to be "non-life-threatening injuries," Lopez said.

The crash remains under investigation.
