Motorcycle crash leaves rider seriously injured, say Edinburg Police

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edinburg Police are investigating a major accident on Tuesday involving a motorcycle on Trenton and McColl Roads.

According to police, around 7:06 a.m., when units arrived, they determined a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Trenton Road and a black Chevrolet Malibu was traveling westbound on Trenton Road.

The Malibu was attempting to turn south onto McColl Road.

The driver of the Malibu allegedly failed to yield the right of way while turning left and collided with the motorcycle.

The driver of the Malibu suffered no injuries.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to DHR with serious injuries.
