PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — One person is in critical condition after a major crash that happened on Tuesday night, the City of Pharr confirms.
At 9:56 p.m., the city issued a traffic alert regarding an incident on the 1100 block of East Interstate 2.
According to police, a motorcyclist lost control and struck another motorcycle. The first motorcyclist was then hit by an oncoming vehicle on the eastbound lanes.
The first motorcyclist was transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition, while the second motorcyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The roads have since been cleared.
