More than 2,500 voters cast their ballot on third early day of voting

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas (ValleyCentral) — ValleyCentral has the numbers for day three of early voting across Hidalgo and Cameron County.

Hidalgo County had a total of 1599 voters cast their ballots, with 11 of them being cast via mail. With 29 polling locations, the Elections Annex Building had 448 people vote, which held the largest number after UTRGV, having 216.

In Cameron County, 941 people voted throughout the 21 polling locations. The Brownsville Public Library had 216 people cast their ballots. holding the largest number after the Harlingen Cultural Arts Center, having 85 voters.

Early voting will run through Oct. 31. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.
