Mission Walmart recognized as top performer

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Walmart Supercenter in Mission was named the #1 Walmart Supercenter out of 1,000 locations nationwide.

The supercenter, located at 2410 E Expressway 83, was recognized as a top performer.

While the store's performance was a factor in its ranking, community involvement is what put store #395 over the top.

Working tirelessly alongside local organizations such as the police and fire departments, Texas Citrus Fiesta, and the Hidalgo Festival of Lights, to teaming up with schools and food banks with school supplies and groceries, to working with Paint Mission Beautiful to paint the homes of residents in need, their dedication to giving back has made a meaningful impact on the community, according to the news release.

The store's achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of the Mission Walmart team.
