Mission police investigate motorcycle crashes Monday morning

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Mission Police Department is investigating two separate motorcycle accidents that took place Monday morning.

Authorities told ValleyCentral the first accident was at 9:38 a.m. off Business 83 and Holland Avenue.

At the scene, Mission police say a man collided with a white truck. The rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

At 10:10 a.m., the motorcyclist involved in the first accident was pronounced dead, Mission police reported.

At 10:17 a.m., Mission police responded to a second motorcycle accident off Glasscock Road and 2 1/2 mile line.

The motorcyclist was involved in an accident with a brown SUV. The biker was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
