The recycling drop-off center is located at W 15th Street & Perkins Ave and offers a convenient avenue for recyclables such as bottles, cans, plastics, aluminum, cardboard and paper that can be disposed of through the open window chutes at any hour, ensuring accessibility around the clock.

"We are thrilled to unveil the Recycling Drop-off Center to enhance recycling initiatives in Mission," Mayor Norie Gonzalez Garza said. "I encourage all members of our community to take advantage of this opportunity to recycle, ensuring a cleaner, healthier future for our city and our planet," said Garza.

The center is exclusively available to Mission residents and was made possible through a Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council grant awarded to the City of Mission.

"We extend our sincere gratitude to the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council for their support in the development of this project," said City Manager, Randy Perez. "I also thank our City Council for their dedication and vision to bring new projects and initiatives to our city," said Perez.
