MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Mission Consolidated Independent School District is celebrating four campuses that received a top rating from the Texas Education Agency.
Last month, TEA released its 2024-2025 list of accountability ratings for each school district and campus across the state.
The academic ratings, ranked A through F, are updated each year for educators and families to understand how their school district and campus are doing based on student achievement and progress.
The 2024-2025 ratings show that four Mission CISD campuses received an 'A' rating.
- Leal Elementary
- Cantu Elementary
- Cavazos Elementary
- Mission Collegiate High School
School leaders and students gathered on Wednesday to celebrate the achievements of Leal Elementary and Cantu Elementary.
"We're celebrating student success, teacher success, and administration success," said Mission CISD Superintendent Cris Valdez. "Mission CISD is so proud of the hard work that our students, our families, our faculty and staff put forth every single day."
Mission CISD will continue its TEA rating celebration on Friday for Cavazos Elementary and Mission Collegiate High School.
