SAN ANTONIO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Grupo Frontera helped a San Antonio woman get back at her ex in the most viral way possible.

On Aug. 17, Grupo Frontera performed at the Frost Bank Center for their Jugando A Que No Pasa Nada Tour.

During their performance, the group noticed a woman holding a poster that said "El [corazon] de mi EX esta mas frio que mi cerveza" in the front row. This sparked their curiosity. Now, that moment has gone viral all over social media.

San Antonio native, Amanda Garza, told ValleyCentral, she and her ex were supposed to go to a Grupo Frontera concert together, but broke up after the tickets were purchased.

"There was no way I was going to miss it, so I bought a single ticket," Garza said.

Garza not only bought a ticket for herself, but upgraded from the original tickets she previously had to floor tickets. She said, she had to make a poster and it had to be catchy.

On the day of the concert, she added she did not expect to see her ex there, nor did she expect anyone to notice her poster. Garza stated she just had one single goal in mind and that was to live and enjoy the moment.

She told ValleyCentral, during the concert, she saw the opportunity to get the band's attention, so, she took it and it did not take them long to read it.

"Payo and the other band members saw the poster, they read it out loud and the crowd went crazy, they gave me the mic and even gave me a chance to speak," Garza said.

Shortly after, the band dedicated the song "Si Yo Fuera Ladron" to Garza. "I thought my poster would at least make it to the big screen at the concert, but would've never thought that he would give me the mic, let me talk, go backstage and have a drink with them," she added.

In a social media post, she stated "Imagine buying your girlfriend a ticket, dumping her….so she buys her own floor seat ticket, and gets pulled backstage, While you and your new girl are watching from the stands up above," along with a photo of her backstage with the group.

This post currently holds 5,400 shares on Facebook. Multiple videos of the interaction between Garza and the band have gone viral all over TikTok. The following are some of the comments:

  • "Being put on blast in front of hundreds including Grupo Frontera. I would simply pass away."
  • "She had better seats than him"
  • "This is how you film chisme very mindful, very demure"

Who can say their favorite band helps them get revenge on an ex, at a concert, and go viral on social media? For sure, Amanda Garza.
